Immerse your self in the past of Bethlehem by visiting Bethlehem’s Ethnographic Museum (Al Beituna Al Telhame) for the Arab Women Union (AWU). The heritage museum is located in the heart of Bethlehem’s Old City, next to the Star Street. It has a collection of traditional Palestinian household items displayed in a old house dedicated to the project where a living room and a kitchen were reconstructed. The place is open everyday from 8 am till noon and from 2 pm till 5 pm, except Sundays. The ticket costs 10 NIS.
AWU Bethlehem is a non-profit charitable, social and cultural society, founded in 1947 in Bethlehem. Its first mission was to support needy Palestinian Women by providing them jobs that enable them to have a descent life.
